Christchurch Helicopters (CHL) is a family owned and operated aviation organisation with over 20 years of experience in the industry, based out of Christchurch Airport and operating in conjunction with sister organisations Pacific Aircraft Services and VADIS Geomatics.

Christchurch Helicopters provides a wide range of aviation services and is CAANZ Part 141, 135 and 137 certificated. CHL is broken down into multiple divisions, services include pilot training, agricultural ops, fire fighting, lifting, hunting, filming, aerial survey, Lidar survey, scenic flight/ charter, and other commercial ops. Although our main base is in Christchurch and predominately operate throughout Canterbury, CHL also operates throughout NZ on various projects.

CHL operates a number of aircraft including Guimbal Cabri G2, MD500E, MD520N, EC120, AS350 B2, AS350 B3E & AS355 F2.

The Position

Christchurch Helicopters are looking for a hard working commercial & ag pilot to invest themselves into the agricultural & commercial departments at Christchurch Helicopters. The role is full time Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work when required. The majority of work is within Canterbury; however, you may be required to travel for specific operations. What we are looking for

• NZ CPL (H)
• Agricultural rating
• Experience on the aircraft we operate
• Motivated to help grow the business & seek opportunities
• Basic computer skills
• Clean, tidy and looks after equipment
• Team player

Additional training will be provided for suitable applicants.
