Qualifications and Skills
- Must be a certified pilot with proven capability in piloting helicopters (Mandatory skill).
- Requires experience as a captain with a strong background in leadership and team management.
- Proficient with helicopter piloting techniques and flight operational procedures.
- Hold a valid commercial pilot license, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations.
- Ability to effectively manage helicopter operations ensuring safety adherence and efficiency.
- Demonstrated expertise in helicopter maintenance protocols and emergency procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, crucial for troubleshooting and in-flight decision-making.
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with crew and ground staff.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform pre-flight checks to ensure the helicopter’s safety and airworthiness.
- Plan and conduct flights in adherence with all aviation and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with air traffic control and ground staff to ensure a smooth flight operation.
- Maintain detailed logs of flight operations including times, locations, and technical issues.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance tasks to guarantee aircraft readiness.
- Train and mentor junior pilots and crew members on flight operations and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any in-flight issues ensuring passenger and aircraft safety.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest in aviation technology and regulations.
