Job Overview

• Salary: $60.00 to $65.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 80 to 100 hours bi-weekly. Minimum wage is guaranteed.
• Terms of employment: Seasonal employment, Full-time.

Work Locations

Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Fly fixed wing aircraft or helicopters.
• Follow emergency procedures for equipment malfunctions or failures.
• Record equipment malfunctions and corrective actions taken during flight.
• Report required repairs to ground maintenance personnel.
• Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides.
• Prepare and maintain flight plans, flight logs, and other reports.

Supervision

Supervise 3-4 people.

Credentials

• Commercial Pilot Licence – fixed wing.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Pesticide Applicator’s Licence.

Security and Safety

• Bondable.
• Criminal record check.
• Medical exam.

Transportation/Travel Information

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Willing to travel regularly.
• Willing to travel for extended periods.

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced environment.

Personal Suitability

• Gasoline paid.
• Piece work.
