Job Description: QA Engineer (SaaS Platform Testing)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and performance of our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in regression testing, automation, and working within agile environments. You will play a crucial role in maintaining product excellence by identifying and reporting bugs, developing test strategies, and automating repetitive testing processes.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and business analysts) to understand the requirements and functionality of the SaaS platform.
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Perform thorough regression testing for releases, patches, and feature updates.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, etc.).
Validate resolved issues and perform impact analysis to ensure a high-quality product release.
Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide feedback on the usability, consistency, and user experience of the platform.
Work closely with DevOps to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications
Experience : 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in SaaS platforms.
Automation : Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or Cypress) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
Testing Tools : Proficiency in using tools such as Postman, JMeter, or LoadRunner for API and performance testing.
Bug Tracking : Familiarity with tools like Jira, etc. for issue tracking and collaboration.
Version Control : Experience with version control systems like Git.
Knowledge : Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Attention to Detail : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate issues and suggest improvements effectively.

Preferred Skills
Experience with SaaS-specific challenges like multi-tenancy and scalability.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
Exposure to cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
