Helicopter Pilot

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced helicopter pilot to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safe and economic aircraft operation, as well as excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Our helicopter pilots are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, while maintaining the highest standards of safety.

This includes:

• Conducting all operations safely and efficiently, as described in company manuals and OEM guidelines
• Supervising the co-pilot and avoiding any violations, accidents, or incidents
• Staying up-to-date with air legislation, operations procedures, checklists, and emergency response programs
• Taking responsibility for the operation, safety of the helicopter, its passengers, and cargo from pre-flight to post-flight phases
• Maintaining high standards of crew discipline, conduct, and customer safety
• Preparing operational flight plans, including fuel planning and mass and center of gravity assessments
• Reporting any faults, failures, malfunctions, or defects that may affect airworthiness or safe operation of the aircraft
• Properly maintaining and wearing mandatory protective personal equipment
• Fostering an open environment for Crew Resource Management (CRM) and engaging in quality crew monitoring

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid ATPL (H) issued by the DGCA
• A Helicopter Instrument rating on type (AW169)
• At least 1500 hours of multi-engine/multi-crew flight time, with 100 hours of PIC experience on offshore flights on type
• A valid medical certificate (class 1)
• Good knowledge of DGCA regulations
• Experience with incident/accident reporting and coordination with the DGCA for investigation purposes
