We are currently seeking a candidate to manage the noise, vibration, and harshness of a diesel engine. You will define requirements with the team, ensure technical specifications are met, manage the NVH validation plan, and document solutions from past projects. What You Will Do
- Manage project convergence in terms of quality, cost, and time, representing the project to the client and the engineering team.
- Develop and adapt the validation plan according to the project’s complexity, defining the achievable performance with the propulsion system and vehicle.
- Conduct and request necessary tests to quantify the achievement of objectives, synthesizing necessary defects and improvements, and prioritizing them in order of importance.
- Manage and resolve serious defects, providing subjective opinions on the perimeter through track or open road tests.
- Represent your perimeter to the client and the engineering team, ensuring defect resolution and implementation of necessary improvements.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in NVH tasks in the automotive sector.
- Education: Industrial, Mechanical, or Acoustic Engineer. A Master’s in acoustics or combustion engines is desirable. PhD in an area related to acoustics.
- Languages: English: a high level of spoken and written English is required. French: also an important asset for professional performance.
- Knowledge in: LMS TestLab, Inca, Concerto, Office365 (Python is a plus).
- Skills and qualities: Technical curiosity, eagerness to learn and progress, professionalism and thoroughness, high degree of autonomy and initiative, and ability to work in a team.
