As an Ag drone pilot assistant at Airborne Solutions, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of experienced drone pilots helping load chemical and change batteries out in the field. You will also be vital in managing our parts in our warehouse. This is a casual position based in Hastings Central Hawkes Bay, with flexibility to work as and when required as our work relies on the weather.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting drone pilot in the field loading chemical and changing the drone batteries
  • Packaging drone parts in our warehouse
  • Helping set up drone spray trailers
  • Maintaining drone equipment to a high standard
  • Assiting with client drone checks and maintenance

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in the Agriculture industry
  • Good communication and customer service skills to interact with clients
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work around weather windows
