Assistant Pilot Plant Manager

Responsibilities:

– Manage production operation to achieve target output (trial, commercial run). This includes manpower/equipment/material readiness, food safety compliance, process control, inline inspection, site GMP.
– Lead in design, installation and operation qualification of new or modified equipment and process lines.
– Work with Engineering team to maintain equipment breakdown & preventive maintenance, annual PE inspection, calibration program, etc.
– Establish data collection, reports and review trends to ensure forward planning and minimum disruption to pilot plant trial, commercial product production and order fulfilment.
– Establish Pilot Plant SOP and maintain documentations, records.
– Provide engineering advice on Pilot Plant and R&D activities.
– Cultivate workplace safety and health mindset and maintain Pilot Plant risk assessment.
– Develop operators competency and build Pilot Plant team’s employee engagement.
– Work closely with R&D team to execute technology and process transfer projects to the business units (if assigned).
– Undertake other assignments and projects as assigned by superior.

Requirements:
1. Min. Degree in Engineering – Mechanical & Electrical, Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.
2. Preferably with experience in leading new plant / production line commissioning.
3. Posses project management skills, result oriented, self-starter, proactive and able to multitask.
