We are looking for a candidate to manage the convergence of Emission & Efficiency performance for a diesel powertrain, build product requirements, manage validation processes, and document solutions and experiences from past projects.

What You Will Do

  1. Quality, Cost, and Time Management: Manages the convergence of the perimeter in terms of quality, cost, and time.
  2. Validation Plan Development: Develops the validation plan adapted to each project according to its complexity.
  3. Performance Definition: Defines the level of performance achievable in the project with a given propulsion system and vehicle.
  4. Testing and Trials: Demands the necessary tests and trials to quantify the achievement or non-achievement of the emission and efficiency objectives.
  5. Defect and Improvement Synthesis: Synthesizes the defects and improvements necessary to achieve the target, working together with the engine calibration teams.
  6. Customer and Engineering Representation: Represents the perimeter to the customer (vehicle being deployed) and the rest of the engineering team, managing and addressing the resolution of missed targets.

What We Are Looking For

  1. Experience: Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in calibration in the relevant perimeter.
  2. Education: Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineer. Preferably a Master’s degree in efficiency/emissions of combustion engines (diesel/decontamination) or a PhD in efficiency/emissions of combustion engines (diesel).
  3. Minimum Experience: 4 to 6 years in analyzing and/or managing emission/efficiency tests on combustion engines.
  4. Preferred Experience: More than 6 years in the automotive sector performing activities such as calibration of engine control units, analysis of tests to confirm emissions and efficiency targets, and responsibility for a perimeter of engine calibration.
  5. Languages: High level of spoken and written English; French is also an important asset.
