Simulator Instructor & Operator

Location : Khamis Mushait – King Khalid Military City (KKMC) and Al Qassim Aviation Institute, Saudi Arabia

Are you ready to elevate aviation training in an international setting? This role requires hands-on expertise and a strong commitment to supporting simulator operations and training in Saudi Arabia. Ideal candidates bring substantial military experience and are skilled in the AH64E LCT.

Key Responsibilities

Aviation Liaison : Serve as the primary link between the simulator facility and supported aviation units. Coordinate scheduling, ensure seamless simulator access, and submit detailed utilization reports to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

Training & Evaluation : Conduct simulator pre- and post-flight checks, schedule necessary inspections, and track individual flight hours as required. Maintain training records and ensure they’re updated monthly.

Operational Readiness : Oversee simulator operational checks, report any deficiencies, and coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is in top shape.

Simulator Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) : Develop SOPs for flight training, covering qualifications, responsibilities, and procedures. SOPs will be submitted for COR approval.

Instructor Pilot Services : Provide in-depth instruction on aircraft systems, instrument and mission flight, emergency procedures, and the flight management system.

Mission Briefing : Meet and prepare aircrew for their training, providing all mission-specific materials, from weather reports to flight planning data.

Debriefing & Feedback : Conduct post-flight debriefings, evaluate performance, and document comments in the Individual Aircrew Training Folder (IATF). Provide constructive feedback and corrective training to enhance pilot performance.

Subject Matter Expertise : Stay updated on aviation procedures, manuals, and training standards. Recommend improvements to training materials and assess the simulator’s performance, suggesting updates to software and hardware as needed.

Instructor Qualification Training : Offer simulator qualification training for unit aviators as requested.

Qualifications

Fort Novosel Trained Instructor Pilot

AH64E LCT Expertise : Experience with AH64E simulators in the past three years.

Significant Military Background : Deep understanding of U.S. Army aviation standards.

Instructor Operator Station (IOS) Experience

Leadership Experience : 5+ years in supervisory roles, especially within simulation and training.
