JOB DESCRIPTION

Junior Drone Show Pilot to lead the operation of drone show. The pilot will be a key member in the successful delivery of a dynamic and magical drone show.
– On the show site: The pilot operates the drone show fleet according to established operating procedures to maximum safety, and coordinates the whole team towards the successful implementation of the drone show in a challenging environment.
– In the office: Work closely with project managers and other team members for the preparation leading up to the drone show. These include conducting site assessments, devising the fight plan, communicating with CAA authorities, and coordinating logistics arrangements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Operation of drone show on site.
– Conduct site visit if needed.
– Devise the drone show flight plan and establish drone show parameters show in coordination with clients/show designers/creative director.
– Coordinate logistics arrangements for the freight or team.
– Deliver on time, often in a tight timeframe.
– Timely communication with clients in different time zone.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

– Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study (e.g. engineering, mathematics, computer science)
– Basic programming knowledge (e.g. Python, Matlab, etc.) is an added advantage
– Must be willing to travel overseas to deliver projects or for training, which could span across several weeks, sometimes in short notice.
– Knowledge of how to operate a consumer drone is a plus.
– Holding a drone pilot licence (e.g. UAPL in Singapore) is an added advantage.
– Able to meet tight deadlines, and adapt working hours to different time zones.
– Remain composed and maintain consistent performance in a stressful environment.
– Excellent team spirit and communication skills.
– Excellent written and spoken English
– Well-versed in Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic or other foreign languages an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $2,500.00 per month
