JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS

We require an experienced Pilot to join our team as part of a SAR crew. This advanced-level position involves helicopter rescue operations and requires a current instrument rating on type.

Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Search and Rescue missions, medical evacuations, and other assigned tasks under the direction of the Duty Captain. They must possess exceptional proficiency in Search and Rescue Operations during day and NVG flight conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Search and Rescue missions, medical evacuations, and other assigned tasks as a member of a SAR crew.
• Assist in mission planning, prepare aircraft for departure, and perform all tasks assigned by the PC.
• Maintain a deep understanding of SAR-related mission tasks, flight profiles, aircraft systems, and Search and Rescue flight operations.
• Earn and maintain satisfactory annual flight evaluations for Standardization, Instrument Flight, NVG, and SAR Mission Operations.
• Hold a valid ATP certificate and meet annual requirements.
• Operate AW139 aircraft as directed by the Pilot-in-Command to accomplish scheduled and unscheduled flights, functional check flights, and support missions as prescribed by customer requirements.
• Develop recommendations to improve proficiency within the unit program and contribute to the development of the future SAR strategy to enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish infrastructure supporting search and rescue operations, communications, training, and simulation systems.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by direct supervisors or managers.
