ROV Pilot/Technician

Job Summary:

The ROV Pilot is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and associated systems to support subsea operations such as inspection, maintenance, repair, and construction tasks in offshore environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate ROVs to conduct underwater tasks
2. Technical maintenance
3. Troubleshoot and repair ROV hydraulic and mechanical systems (electrical system knowledge will be beneficial)
4. Data collection and reporting
5. Safety and compliance
6. Work closely with other team members

Qualifications and Skills:

Training will be provided to those without experience.

Education and Certification:

1. Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.

Personal Attributes:

1. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
2. Ability to work under pressure in challenging offshore environments.
3. Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Work Conditions:

1. Offshore assignments requiring extended periods on vessels or rigs.
2. Onshore assignments requiring extended periods at anchorages.
3. Exposure to harsh weather and confined spaces.
