We are an underwater robotics company doing Vessel hull inspection and cleaning. We design and produce our own cleaning underwater robots. Job description

The post is responsible for Operating as well as repair & maintenance of HYDROV’s ROV system, tooling, equipment etc necessary for operation according to industry standards. Ensuring good safety work practises and engineering quality.

1) Reports to ROV Supervisor who is responsible for the entire operation of his team.

2) Regular service and preventive maintenance work to ensure all HDYROV equipment stays in tip-top condition.

3) Repair the equipment when it is unserviceable. Good troubleshoot and problem-solving skill will be highly valued.

4) Assist when necessary in production and servicing of HYDROV in-house R&D underwater robotic machine in the workshop.

5) Primary work location will be on Workboat operating in nearshore Singapore waters, seconday work location at HYDROV’s operation workshop when necessary. The Workboat will eventually be moored at Marina South Pier.

6) Flexible working hours according to project requirement. Not typical 8 to 5 office-based/Workshop-based work.

Skill Set

5) Good communication with the operation team to ensure the equipment is ready for project in time.

6) Maintain the workplace clean and tidy. Ensuring sufficient stock of spares for repair and maintenance of the equipment to avoid unnecessary delay.

7) Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Computing or Robotics engineering background.

8) Proficient in Solid work program is not mandatory but is an advantage.

9) Passion for Offshore robotics technology with a keen eye for continuous improvement on HYDROV equipment as well as work process.

10) Good team player. Willing to learn and grow with the company.

11) Strong hands on skill, not scare to get your hands dirty.
