CONTINGENT UPON AWARD APPLY NOW KEY POSITION

AH-6i Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP)/Chief Pilot

Redstone Technologies is seeking an exceptionally qualified AH-6i Instructor Pilot (IP) to perform duties as the Chief Instructor/Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP). Will direct and standardize the activities of a team of AH-6i IPs which will provide efficient, effective, knowledge-based classroom and flight training services, and instruction, in support of a foreign government’s requirements. The purpose of this training is to strengthen the Partner Nations’ Aviation Force’s skillsets to successfully perform mission requirements. SIP will standardize all ground and flight training in accordance with approved programs of instruction and the member country’s regulations. Will serve as the Chief Evaluator, will evaluate other IPs and make recommendations for training. Will manage the team Aircrew Training Program (ATP) and Commander’s Task List (CTL).

Position Requirements

Required Education:Bachelor’s Degree; Professional Flight Education

Desired Education (in addition to Required Education):Master’s Degree; Instrument Flight Examiner’s Course

Required Experience:
3,000 Rotary Wing PIC Flight Hours

1,000 Hours of duty as Instructor Pilot

Must have served as an SIP in a Battalion or Brigade level position

100 Instructor Pilot Hours in type (AH-6i, or (pending customer approval) AH-6M)

Previous Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Instructor Experience

Instrument Flight Examiner experience (not restricted to type)

Desired Experience (in addition to Required Experience):
Former aviation flight training experience with foreign forces

Former unit training (collective training) experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s):
Ability and aptitude to conduct all academic, ground-based hands-on, and in-flight training.

Able to gather, maintain, and present, upon demand, qualifying documents and certificates that demonstrate or record professional experience.

Demonstrated Student Management skills

Demonstrated ATP / CTL management skills

Ability to manage a team of well-qualified Instructor Pilots

Ability to deploy to and train in the USCENTCOM theater

Ability to meet all USCENTCOM and Host Nation medical requirements for deployed contractors

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)

Institutional Courseware Development

Required Certifications and Licenses:
Commercial Pilot certificate with Instrument Privileges

Class II Medical Certificate (FAA or EASA)

Documentation of Instructor Pilot course graduation, or Certified Flight Instructor Certificate

FAA CFII (Instrument)

US Driving License

Desired Certifications and Licenses:
Host nation residence card and/or driving license

Required Nationality:
US, or NATO Member country citizenship required (Some exceptions may be considered based on experience)
